Andreea Porcelli, BA

Andreea began her career in 1991 at the London main office of Barclays Bank BZW.  Fluent in Italian and French, she covered major European institutions as a securities salesperson.  She moved to New York City in 1994 where she became Syndicate Manager for MH Meyerson, a leading US small-cap underwriter and market maker.  During her career, Andreea has participated in more than 120 equity issuances, raising over US$200 million.  She was responsible for European marketing and distribution for new issues, and has negotiated with top management of companies in need of financing to promote both private and public raises on their behalf.

She is originally from San Francisco and has studied and worked in five countries.  She is a graduate of Franklin College in Lugano, Switzerland with a BA in International Relations.  Her education and experience has produced an international set of relationships that continue to be successful in European institutional financings today.   Andreea has established relationships with institutional investors throughout Europe, and is constantly pursuing new investment opportunities in both the US and Europe for her clients.

Mark Porcelli, MBA

Mark started his career in 1985 as a bond trader on Wall Street.  He was a fixed income trader for six years and has traded all types of debt securities including US government and agency bonds, mortgage-backed securities, collaterized obligations and derivatives.  He also was an institutional fixed income salesperson, and has been involved in many public and private transactions for both fixed income and convertible equity issuances as well as structured notes and bonds.  He is currently structuring debt and equity financings for companies that offer significant potential in their home markets and internationally.

He has worked at premier investment firms such as Alex Brown & Sons (Deutsche Bank), Credit Suisse First Boston and Nomura Securities International in New York City.  His last position at a large institution was with Wells Fargo Bank in Las Vegas, Nevada, and in 2001 he and his partner Andreea moved to Europe to start Continental Advisors as investment bankers and consultants.  Mark has an MBA in Finance & Investments from the City University of New York, Baruch College and a BA in Finance from the State University of New York, Old Westbury College.
